The Converse All Star
The original classic!
The Converse All Star has been around for almost a century. First released in 1917, this all-time classic has largely remained the same since its introduction and is the best-selling and most popular sneaker in history. Despite its relatively constant look and feel throughout the years, the Converse All Star has been used in many different ways, adapting to the passing of each generation. The Converse All Star was indeed first intended as a basketball shoe and was worn on court by many icons of the sport. Little known fact: Wilt Chamberlain played his legendary 100-point game wearing Converse All Star! Later on, as footwear technology progressed, The Converse All Star took its laid-back attitude to the streets and quickly became a worldwide fashion statement on the streets.
Icon of the rock and roll revolution of the 50's and 60's, the All Star has then been able to reinvent itself each season since then and the legendary sneaker is now as relevant as it ever was in the past. The last few years have seen an explosion of variations and twists on the original model and our unique Converse All Star collection offers a wide array of choice, from the authentic initial versions in basic colour ways, to the most radical new-school versions boasting different materials, prints and textures, on both high and low Converse All Star silhouettes.
